The Conservative Party of Canada will officially open its 2020 Leadership election on Monday, January 13!

The Leadership Election Organizing Committee (LEOC) has set the rules governing the election, and we are ready to go.

You can find the new Leadership Election rules here.

This is an exciting time for our Party. With the introduction of these rules, our Leadership race is officially open. Our candidates can begin the hard work of campaigning to be the next Conservative Party Leader, and Canada’s next Prime Minister.

But this will not be easy, as the Conservative Party’s Leadership race is designed to test the organizational abilities of our next leader. It will be about displaying their ability to inspire Canadians to join our party, and to do so under tight timelines similar to the pressures of an election.
