Join the Burlington Conservative Association as we observe Remembrance Day in Burlington this year and take part in two ceremonies – one in-person and one virtually.
The Burl Oak Naval Veterans will hold an in-person Sunrise Ceremony in Spencer Smith Park at the Naval Ships Memorial Monument. Our Burlington Conservative Candidate of Record, Emily Brown will lay a wreath on behalf of BCA at this ceremony. The rules pertaining to the Covid 19 Recovery Program will be in place and the wearing of masks is encouraged by those attending if physical distancing cannot be maintained.
The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 60 will be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph, Veteran Square, on behalf of the Burlington Conservative Association and our President, Marilyn Hunter. Our wreath will be placed on the morning of November 11th, and announced as part of the virtual ceremony. Due to COVID-19, the public is not encouraged to attend the ceremony at the downtown Cenotaph in Veteran Square. Instead, join us for the virtual Burlington Remembrance Day ceremony beginning at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11th by clicking HERE.
