What the Trudeau Liberals have allowed to happen at the borders in Quebec and Manitoba is wrong!
Earlier this year, Justin Trudeau tweeted that everyone will be welcomed in Canada, leading to thousands of people illegally crossing our borders.
This is irresponsible. It gives false hope to the people risking their lives and breaking Canadian laws to get here.
And it takes resources away from those fleeing actual persecution!
Since last winter, Conservatives have been demanding the Liberals come up with a plan to stop these illegal crossings.
We want an asylum system that is compassionate and works for the people who need it most urgently.
Our focus must remain on those who are legally working their way through our refugee system.
