During the lead up to the 2015 election, an unprecedented amount of foreign cash made its way into the coffers of third party groups with an anti-Conservative agenda.
This meant foreign contributions propped up third party groups, in a bid to dishonestly manipulate the results of the last federal election.
If we don’t stop this, Canada’s democracy will remain susceptible to further influence!
During testimony at committee, Canada’s chief elections investigator spoke of “unfair electoral outcomes” and referenced a review of the current rules to ensure “a level playing field.”
