BILL C-479 (AN ACT TO AMEND THE CCRA – FAIRNESS FOR VICTIMS) IS ANNOUNCED IN THE HOUSE
Burlington’s MP Mike Wallace has had his Private Members Bill concerning missing persons finally come to a realization in Bill C-479. There are over 600 unidentified human remains across Canada. This leaves families of missing persons with no closure after the loss of a loved one. Bill C-479 will add a Missing Persons Index to the DNA databank.
